The
Sarnia one Cadet program is an exciting way to physically, intellectually,
and spiritually prepare young boys as they approach manhood.
Each Thursday night we meet for a number of different structured activities. There is an extensive badge program that involves everything from woodworking, hiking, and knots, to discovering God’s Word, just to name a few.
As a regular part of the program the boys participate in exciting sporting events, which include swimming, floor hockey and sledding. These activities are a fantastic way to burn off that youthful energy while teaching the boys about fair play, healthy competition, and teamwork.
As
part of the larger organization of Cadets, there are a couple of
yearly events that all surrounding Cadet clubs participate in. There
is a Snow Derby and an end-of-year Cadet-O-Rama, where the boys
showcase all their crafts for the year.
The club is committed to ensuring the boys have a great time and in the process learn to understand their role in God’s creation and how they can make a difference.
Our Cadet Club is part of a larger international organization. Visit the official Calvinist Cadets Corp website for more information about Cadeting in general.
